We Understand Mortgages

For 20 years now, we have been working with and comparing some of Australia’s biggest brands including:

We support people looking to finance property, through to more complicated scenarios.

There are range of ways we can get started, including an initial call, email or meeting.
At the outset, we will make our MCP Credit Guide available to you. It outlines the basis of providing advice to you, and other things like how we are remunerated. It also talks through recourse available to you should you not get the experience you expect.

To ensure that advice we provide is not unsuitable for your circumstances, we need to understand your financial situation. An outline of the full process is outlined in “The Mortgage Process”. It looks complicated but we are with you every step of the way!

MCP holds an Australian Credit Licence – Licence Number 385476 and has a coordinated team of Credit Representatives under this licence.

Our Mortgage process

This outline provides an indicative step by step overview of some of the key milestones in the mortgage process.

We have lots of tools and calculators that are available for you.

From simple loan calculators to more complex cash flow and lending scenarios we would be be pleased to provide these to you. As part of our responsibility to better understand your financial circumstances, and to help with your own financial literacy, these tools also include worksheets such as Living Expenses Analysis for your use.

Our “White Papers” and “e-Books” are also great resources for those wanting to find out more, or indeed find out what you didn’t know you needed to know!

Assess my Financial Position

As part of the responsibility lending guidelines, we need to review and understand your financial position, and make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation.

We don’t judge!  Of course too it remains confidential.

It can be a little dry but as part of our review we also aim to provide some information back to you which we hope you find useful. Not just for the finance at hand but your broader financial situation, including your goals and objectives.  Check out an example of the Preliminary Assessment we provide here.
