For over 20 years, we have supported people looking to finance buying a home, refinancing, through to more complicated scenarios. Our team have backgrounds in accounting, legal, financial advice and banking so we can handle a diversity of situations.
Many of our customers are also business owners or self-employed too, so you can talk us about more complicated lending scenarios.
At the outset, we will make our MCP Credit Guide available to you. It outlines the basis of providing advice to you, and other things like how we are remunerated. It also talks through recourse available to you should you not get the experience you expect.
Many people want to get straight to a solution or credit provider, though when getting a mortgage there is a mutual responsibility to ensure there is clarity about both your goals & objectives, and what lending structure is right for your circumstances.
To assist you (and us) we make our Mortgage Strategies Guide available to you. We ask you consider some of the considerations here, even if you have had a mortgage many times before. The MSG addresses many of the decisions you may need to make in optimising your finances.
We deal with a range of Financiers. It is important to maintain a good reputation with them as this is beneficial to our customers in the long term. Our Broker Group, FAST, has a wide panel of lenders which you can review here. We also hold other accreditations as appropriate to support the best interests of our customers.
Our mortgage broking services are normally remunerated from a lender in the form of a commission, and whilst it is not responsible or possible to deal with every credit provider, we follow the regulations that outline Best Interests Duty legislation.
MCP holds an Australian Credit Licence – Licence Number 385476 and has a coordinated team of Credit Representatives that engage in specific credit activities under this licence.

We have lots of tools and calculators that are available for you.
From simple loan calculators to more complex cash flow and lending scenarios we would be be pleased to provide these to you. As part of our responsibility to better understand your financial circumstances, and to help with your own financial literacy, these tools also include worksheets such as Living Expenses Analysis for your use.
Assess my Financial Position
Before we make any assessments, we are required to make reasonable inquiries about your requirements and objectives in relation to any credit. This includes reasonable inquiries about your financial situation; and we must take reasonable steps to verify financial information.
It can be a little dry but as part of our review, we also aim to provide some information back to you which we hope you find useful. This will help improve your financial literacy too.
